The Ram 1500 Classic is offered with either rear-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive in a host of models and configurations. Regular cab trucks seat three across and offer bed lengths in either 76 inches or 96 inches. Quad Cabs feature two smaller rear doors and seat up to six passengers, with only the 76-inch bed available. Crew Cabs feature four full-size doors, seats for six with lots of leg room. Within those configurations, several different models are offered: Express, Big Horn, Tradesman and Warlock All trim levels come standard with a PentaStar 305-horsepower 3.6L V6 and 8-speed transmission. This combination is rated at a combined 24 mpg. Optional across the range is the 5.7L Hemi V8, which makes 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Towing capacity, when properly equipped is a stump-pulling 9,200 pounds. The base Tradesman Ram 1500 Classic come standard with blacked-out grille, front fascia and bumpers, a spray-in bedliner, a Class IV receiver hitch, a backup camera and a Chrysler Uconnect stereo with 6-speakers, a USB port, an audio input jack and 17-inch wheels. The Express trim is the next level up and costs less than $2000 more than the tradesman, meaning it's still priced below the base price of the 2019 Ram 1500. The Express gets a body colored grille and bumpers, 17-inch painted aluminum wheels and fog lamps. The Warlock trim wasn't offered on the previous Ram 1500, but adds a fair number of usability and styling updates to the truck. It gets a distinctive blacked out grille that is unique to the Warlock trim along with black powder coated front and rear bumpers. The Warlock trim also gets LED fog lamps, 20-inch black aluminum wheels, parking sensors, black fender flares, a 5.0-inch touchscreen, voice commands and bluetooth connectivity for the stereo, SiriusXM satellite radio and power door locks. The Warlock trim is not available with the regular cab, buyers must choose between the Quad Cab with the longer box or the Crew Cab with a shorter box At the top of the Dodge Ram 1500 Classic lineup sits the Big Horn model. Unlike the blacked out look for the Warlock, the Ram 1500 Classic Big Horn has plenty of bright chrome work around the grille, the bumpers and the wheels. Inside it gets a bigger 8.4-inch touchscreen as well as a 7-inch driver information display in the instrument cluster. The steering wheel in the Big Horn is leather wrapped and features audio controls for the stereo and the seats are power adjustable up front. The Ram 1500 Classic Big Horn also gets Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and HD radio.
