Mazda Fuel Economy

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) named Mazda the most fuel-efficient manufacturer in the United States. They held onto the title as the top fuel-efficiency spot for four years in a row. Mazda's SKYACTIV technology made these achievements possible, without having to switch to hybrid or electric technologies. SKYACTIV technology made Mazda's vehicles lighter, safer, and more fuel efficient without taking away the amazing feeling driving a Mazda gives you. Nearly every single Mazda gets astonishing gas mileage, but the Mazda 2 and Mazda 3 Hatchback take the lead with the highest combined fuel efficiency.

Mazda 2

The 2016 Mazda 2 won an award for the most-improved fuel economy in a single model, with 23-percent higher mpg than the previous year's. The 6 speed automatic reaches an outstanding 43 miles to the gallon on the highway and a still very impressive 33 mpg in the city. Because of the Mazda 2's new engine, a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV four-cylinder, these unbelievable numbers are possible.

Mazda 3 Hatchback

Roomier and still incredibly fun to drive, the 2017 automatic Mazda 3 hatchback still gets 40 miles to the gallon while driving on the highway. This car, housing a 2.0 liter engine, also gets 30 miles per gallon throughout the city roads.

Mazda's fuel-efficient is astonishing along with many other features they have to offer.
