When you press the gas pedal in the 2026 Mazda CX-30, it will greet you with 186 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft by way of its standard SKYACTIV®-G 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. Meanwhile, the 2026 Venue falls behind with its standard 1.6L 4-cylinder engine that produces 121 horsepower and 113 lb.-ft. of torque. The Mazda CX-30 also boasts superior traction and handling on Route 89 from its standard i-ACTIV AWD® with Off-road Traction Assist1. Meanwhile, the Hyundai Venue only offers a standard FWD format that lacks the diverse driving capabilities of the Mazda. The i-Activsense® safety suite for the Mazda has a standard Blind Spot Monitoring2 system that alerts you to other cars in hard-to-see spots, but the analogous feature is not available on the base trim of the Venue.
2026 Mazda CX-30 vs 2026 Honda HR-V
The 2026 Mazda CX-30 has something in common with its Honda counterpart that can’t be identified by looking at a single component. That is the fact that both SUVs are recognized as being some of the most reliable, long-lasting ones on the market, according to J.D. Power and Consumer Reports. Looking more closely at these two vehicles, we’ll see some ways that they’re different from one another. For example, the Honda HR-V has a slightly larger infotainment screen with a 9.0-inch screen compared to the Mazda’s 8.8-inch monitor. Both have a 7.0-inch driver information panel to show your current speed on the way to South Ogden Nature Park. However, the Mazda has a far better sound system in store with a standard 8-speaker configuration compared to the standard 4-speaker array on the HR-V.
2026 Mazda CX-30 vs Kia Seltos
Considering these two vehicles, it’s easy to see that the Mazda has more in the way of standard safety features. “ My sales lady was amazing (shout out Jessica), and went far above and beyond. She came in on her day off, and would answer questions while she was off the clock. My only issue came from the service department. It took over 3 hours from the time I was called in to pick up my car from service and the time I was able to leave with it. My sales lady was also in for the same 3 hours on her day off. It seemed like the service department was trying to send me home with a bad battery as it had to be jump started. After all the waiting they finally just replaced it. However the overall experience was pretty good. ”
