The 2018 Mazda 3 has some new improvements that will make this vehicle a smash hit all over the country. Mazda's blueprints for this specific vehicle are unlike any other. The plans include completely transforming the engine, making it more fuel efficient and even better for the environment.

Mazda 3's new second-generation SkyActiv-G engine is very different and a mind-blowing 30 percent more fuel efficient than the previously fuel efficient first-generation engine. This engine is an amazing breakthrough, rumoring to get nearly 71 miles to the gallon, inching behind the Toyota Prius in gas mileage. However, this specific engine differs from typical engines by not using spark plugs to ignite.

Instead, the second-generation SkyActiv G-engine uses high pressure and homogenous charge compression ignition (HCCI). Running like a diesel engine, but still being gasoline powered, this new advancement also lowers the amount of exhaust given off by the vehicle. While the Mazda 3 will be the first car to use the HCCI technology, other Mazda models will begin using it shortly. Mazda is the first manufacturer to apply this technology to real life cars.

This outstanding model should arrive between the end of this year and the first part of 2018. Because of the new technologies and added improvements, the 2018 model is expected to raise slightly in price from this years which started at about $20,000. Young Mazda in South Ogden, Utah is where you'll find the best price and service in Northern Utah. Nowhere else comes close. Think Young. Drive Young.
